Why BASE
  • BADASS

I believe that defying societal norms is actually badass. I believe that getting healthy by getting booze out of your bloodstream makes you a better person. I think by quitting, you’re redefining what it means to be "cool" or "strong." True badassery comes from facing life head-on, without the crutch of alcohol.

  • And

This simple conjunction is crucial. It emphasizes that being badass and being sober aren't mutually exclusive—they're complementary. Because I believe true badasses are also non-drinkers and healthy.

  • Sober

This is about more than just not drinking. It's about clarity, authenticity, and presence in all aspects of your life. Being there for your kids, being there for your friends and being there for yourself.

  • Experiment

I approach sobriety as an ongoing experiment, encouraging curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to try new approaches. With all true experiments, there will be setbacks and failures, but ultimately, the goal is to create something unique. A new sober badass you.
